OCCUPATION: Musician ( Front man and writer for the band The Other Side ), Owner and operator of Danger Designs ( Custom paint shop for motorcycles and cars. )

→ Was born in the late sixties to parents Ida and Ron Stevenson. He was their second child only to be followed by two younger sisters. Their home was a fairly happy one. He didn't seem to have many problems.

→ Father bought him his first guitar when he was 11. He took formal lessons until he was 14 when he gave up on them and started doing his own thing with the guitar. His parents respected those wishes and let him do what he pleased. He had gotten enough out of those years.

→ When he reached High School, around his sophomore year, he got heavy into drugs and alcohol. He also formed a band which they named The Other Side. Through the drugs and alcohol they seemed to make their music hard rock and sound good.

→ After many dates around the Boston area, they were picked up by a record label and launched a career. He didn't finish school having been brought out to play on the road in support of their music opening for big league bands. Names included ACDC, Primal Scream and even Damien Deth.

→ The Other Side became a huge rock hit, releasing three albums ( Voodoo, Awake, and Faceless ) as well as putting out a concert special on home video. Devin even met his future wife on the road. However, the fun and games ended when Devin overdosed on a mix of cocaine and Jack Daniels. His alcohol level was outrageous and he was found clinically dead for five minutes until he was finally revived by a paramedic.

→ After dealing with his overdose and living with his girlfriend and future wife, they both decided there needed to be a break. The Other Side went on indefinite hiatus and Devin went into treatment to become clean and sober. It took him almost a year to kick the habit but he finally did. He's stayed clean and sober for over a decade and his only vice seems to be smoking, which is a habit he formed to cut down stress for himself.

→ Devin continued to work in music, but not in The Other Side. He didn't go on the road either. He played a few select acoustic shows before finally quitting music to the point of just co-writing songs for other bands. He took up interest in another passion of his which dealt with customizing choppers ( motorcycles. ) He pooled his money and resources with his wife's and they opened Danger Designs which started out as a custom paint job shop for choppers. It eventually expanded to vehicles of all sorts and he took his job to West Chester, Pennsylvania when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant with their first child.

→ First born was Starr Emilie Stevenson. She was the inspiration for the star tattoo on his face. One year later, his wife got pregnant again. Born then were fraternal boy and girl twins, Harley Jane Stevenson and Davidson Tyler Stevenson. Both the twins and Starr were present for the marriage of their parents when Devin and his girlfriend married in May of 1994.

→ Today, Devin still co-owns and operates Danger Designs with his wife and they've settled peacefully in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Devin often takes part in charity poker tournaments and charity bike rides. He's still a humble guy from Boston and puts his children and wife first before all else. Some people may call him a pansy by doing that but he knows where his heart is. He believes in God, but isn't a bible thumper. He insists miracles exist and says his children are proof of that. His return to music remains to be seen. Whenever asked, he simply replies with, "I'm getting too old to return to that." but in reality, he just doesn't want to find himself back to a bad place with drinking and doing drugs.
